Project Story
For over 40 years, AMALDEME has been supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in Mali.
Despite these efforts, many trained young people are unable to practice a trade, due to a lack of equipment, guidance, or initial funding.
The “Hand in Hand” project addresses this urgent need by creating a vocational training and insertion workshop.
Its goal is to help each young person acquire practical skills and gain economic independence in a caring and inclusive environment.
The collected funds will be used to:
-Rehabilitate and equip a multi-purpose workshop (sewing, carpentry, urban gardening).
-Purchase training and production materials adapted to participants’ needs.
-Train and compensate specialized instructors and educators.
-Implement a monitoring and evaluation system to measure progress and impact.
Every contribution directly supports the dignity, confidence, and future of young people with intellectual disabilities.
